Mini Photo Shoot Schedule

Here is the schedule for the photo-shoot...

Thursday June 5th:
-------------
-------------
-------------

Saturday June 7th
-------------
5:30-6:30
-------------

Tuesday June 10th
-------------
-------------
-------------

Just a couple of things to remember...
* Shoot will be canceled if bad weather.
* Try and avoid wearing black tops and let me know if you have questions about clothing.
* Plan on being at shoot at the start time. Once the kids get comfortable with me, the shoot should last 30 min. I've scheduled 1 hour just in case.
* You are welcome to bring different outfits to change.
* Make sure the kids have shoes on.
* I will not have phone or e-mail access from May 25th to June 1st.
* I'll give you my address over the phone.
* If none of the times work, I'll be doing another mini-shoot in a couple weeks.

Oh, and one more thing...sometimes these little cuties are just not in the mood to have their picture taken. If I don't feel like they are at their best and I'm not getting enough good shots, I hope you'll be patient with me and reschedule. I want the pictures to be wonderful, not just o.k.
AND, if you're not happy with the final result, I will be more than happy to do it over.

Call to save a spot, they will fill up quickly!

Mini-Photo Shoot Comming Soon!!

I will be doing a mini photo-shoot in my front yard the first week of June. What this is (mini shoot) is an affordable way to get a couple great shots of your kids. This will be for kids only. $20 per child and each session will be about 30 min. Each addition child (in family) will be $10. (that will be included in the 30 min.)
You will get 5-10 full-resolution, fully edited digital photographs (per child) on an archival CD.

I will have my backdrops set up as an option and pictures will also be taken in the rocks and bushes in front. Here are a couple of examples...

I'll be gone May 25th-June 1st, but I'll post exact dates and time so you can sign up before I go if possible. Dates and times to come....
Let me know if this is something you would be interested in.

Look what I got for Mother's Day!!!!!

JUST KIDDING!! I meant to say, look what Ryan got for Mother's Day. HA, HA, HA!!

Well, he bought it a couple of weeks ago, but he finally got it Mother's Day weekend. I'm so happy for him. He went to Logan with his Dad and brother on their bikes to see his Grandma and said it was so fun. I took a test drive and I have to admit, it is really exciting. The kids can't wait to get their helmets so they can have a ride with Dad. You deserve this Ryan. You are such a wonderful Father and Husband. ALWAYS be careful!
Mother's Day was great! Ryan and the kids got me a pottery barn bath robe. I've never felt anything so soft. We also went to Grantsville to be with my family and talk to my brother Kevin whom was calling from his Mission. I was an emotional wreck. Something about hearing his voice just triggered a lot of emotion. We also talked about Grandma being gone and how special she is to us. (Kevin was really close to her, too.) Kevin is such a great missionary and an inspiration to me. Love ya, little bro.

Happy Mother's Day to all you blogging buddies. And a big Happy Mother's Day to the greatest Mother in the world. I couldn't ask for a more wonderful Mother. Thank you for you example of Living the Gospel. Thank you for always being there for me. I love you Mom!!

Spring has Sprung!!

I think spring is finally here. It's been a dramatic spring with the ups and downs of the temperature, but that's spring in Utah. One of my favorite parts of spring is the transformation and 'coming to life' of my front yard. When we built our home and viewed the finish result, we realized how plain and standard the front view of the house was. So in my planning of the landscaping, I designed to enhance, (hide) the plainness of our new home. I have so enjoyed each spring as the trees and bushes come in bigger and bolder. The kids love playing throughout the rocks and bushes and with it facing east, we have the shade in front which draws us there most evenings. The landscape is surprisingly very, very little maintenance. There's weed-cover under the soil pep/bark so I pick only a handful of weeds every year. Also, because of the roots maturity, I don't need to water anything. I love my front landscape, I just wish I could say the same about my grass. Other than that, it has turned into the picture I had in my head 7 years ago. I just wanted to share a little of what I take pride in. I'm so grateful for spring and the opportunity for outdoor photo shoots.!!

Which brings me to the next perk of my front yard. The lighting has proved to be perfect for photos. The rocks and bushes also add so much color. Information and schedule coming soon for a mini photo shoot (for kids) in my front yard. It's going to be fun, affordable, and convenient.
